Base Muffin Batter:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
For each flavour:
Blueberry Muffins
- 1/2 cup of blueberries
Strawberry Muffins:
- 1/2 cup of strawberries
Raspberry Muffins:
- 1/2 cup of raspberries
Banana Nut Muffins
- 1/2 cup of bananas
- 1/4 cup of nuts
Instructions

PreheatPreheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

Prepare Base BatterIn a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Divide batterDivide the base batter evenly into four portions.

Flavour each portionGently fold fruits for each separate bowl for each flavour.

BakeSpoon each flavored batter into the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full

Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

CoolAllow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
