- 1lb bag of fresh, whole cranberries
- 1 1/2 cup of orange juice (fresh squeezed or store bought)
- Sugar – optional
- Orange zest – optional
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries thoroughly
- Boil cranberries and orange juice on medium-low heat until the cranberries pop and sauce bubbles.
- Add sugar one tablespoon at a time until the sweetness is to your liking. (The orange juice makes it sweet enough for me but I like it tart)
- If using fresh orange juice, zest the peel and sprinkle into the sauce.
